The image intensifier built into the head is available with a GaAsP photocathode or multialkali photocathode. The GaAsP photocathode delivers an extremely high sensitivity in the visible region and also acquires images with an incredibly high S/N ratio thanks to our new photocathode fabrication technique. The multialkali photocathode offers a wide spectral range from the UV to near infrared region.
