Leanne Deacon, a 16-year-old British girl who suffered a cardiac arrest after riding on an attraction at Walt Disney's Florida park, has been flown home and is now in a UK hospital.

Leanne remained in a critical condition as she was moved from Florida Hospital, Orlando, to an air ambulance for a flight home on Saturday.

She is now being treated at Leicester General Hospital, where her condition has been described as "stable".

Leanne, of Kibworth, Leicestershire, who was taken ill on 12 July, complained of feeling shaky and light-headed when she got off the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride and her condition rapidly deteriorated.

She was taken to hospital and later underwent surgery.
