Oxea to increase prices and tightens sales control due shortage of raw materials

Oxea will increase prices on the following products effective September 1, 2009, or as contracts allow. This increase is in addition to any previously announced mid quarter price increase.

Due to shortages of propylene, large and sudden cost increases, improved demand and tight alcohol supply, effective immediately, Oxea has implemented 100 percent sales control on the products, as listed below.

Oxea is a global supplier of solvents, polyols and oxo derivatives such as carboxylic acids, olefin derivatives and alkylamines. These products are used for the production of high-quality coatings, lubricants, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, flavorings and fragrances, printing inks and plastics.
