MassMutual's Retirement Services Division has hired a new sales representative to support its growing Taft-Hartley business:

William (Bill) Erlandson joined MassMutual on August 5 as managing director reporting to Scott Buffington, national sales manager for MassMutual Retirement Services Division's Taft-Hartley market segment. Mr. Erlandson is responsible for sales and intermediary development in MassMutual's Taft-Hartley market. He brings more than 15 years of financial and retirement services experience to the role and was most recently employed by Putnam Investments where he served as director and senior vice president of Taft-Hartley relationship management.

"MassMutual is experiencing explosive growth in our Taft-Hartley business," says Hugh O'Toole, senior vice president of sales and client management for MassMutual's Retirement Services Division. "We look forward to leveraging Bill's Taft-Hartley expertise and Scott Buffington's leadership to capitalize on MassMutual's strong momentum in the Taft-Hartley market," he adds.
