24 Hour Fitness launches new Annapolis Super Sport club

24 Hour Fitness®, the largest privately owned U.S. fitness chain and a leading health club industry pioneer, announced today the opening of the Annapolis Super Sport club - the first club in the Annapolis area.

The new club offers state-of-the-art amenities, including innovative group exercise classes, an indoor pool and steam room, a full-sized basketball court and more. Free seven day passes to the club are available at www.24hourfitness.com.

The Annapolis team invites the public to attend the grand opening festivities from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, which will include free fitness orientations with qualified 24 Hour Fitness Personal Trainers and the opportunity to try the high-energy Zumba Group X® class. Participants can also enter to win Personal Training sessions and the bodybugg® personal calorie management system, which includes a lightweight armband integrated with a web-based program.

Remarks will be made by Carl Liebert III, chief executive officer of 24 Hour Fitness. VIPS in attendance will include: Dennis Callahan, chief administrative officer, Anne Arundel County and Brian Gibbons, president and chief executive officer of Greenberg Gibbons, developer of the Annapolis Towne Centre.
