Frost & Sullivan honors excellence in healthcare innovation

Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, honored healthcare companies for demonstrating leadership and innovation Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Excellence in Healthcare Innovation Awards Banquet held in San Antonio, Texas.

The Healthcare Innovation Awards are given to companies that have made a significant contribution to the delivery and management of healthcare. Such companies have shown success at meeting the needs of patients and other stakeholders in the healthcare industry by pioneering products, practices, technology, and ideas.

Ann McCaughan, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Noninvasive Medical Technologies, received the 2009 North American Lifetime Achievement Award for Remote Patient Monitoring. Widely acknowledged as one of the leading experts in cardiac home care, McCaughan's pioneering vision and efforts in the industry have led to a number of commercially successful and novel healthcare monitoring products.

Public relations and marketing firm Padilla Speer Beardsley sponsored the event.
