A-Life Medical, Inc., the pioneer and leading provider of computer-assisted coding (CAC) products and services to the healthcare industry, announced today that it has been included in the Healthcare Informatics 100, a listing comprising the top 100 healthcare information technology (IT) vendors, according to this leading trade journal. The list appeared in the publication's June 2010 issue.

The Healthcare Informatics 100 is the only ranking of its kind in healthcare IT, and provides detailed information on vendor revenues as well as other data on the companies included in the annual ranking. This year's inclusion marks A-Life's debut on the list, where the company ranked 95.

"We are pleased to be included in this prestigious ranking by Healthcare Informatics. The Healthcare Informatics 100 is an excellent, highly viewed resource, which is constantly referenced industry wide throughout the year. Our recent growth, technological advancements and new product introductions, coupled with A-Life's proprietary Natural Language Processing technology, LifeCode®, which serves as the engine for our highly recognized CAC capabilities, all contributed to our inaugural appearance on this prominent list. We are extremely proud to be included in the 2010 ranking," said Jaye Connolly, president at A-Life Medical.
