Complete Genomics files registration statement on Form S-1 with SEC

Complete Genomics, Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. The shares of common stock to be sold in this offering are proposed to be sold solely by Complete Genomics, Inc.

UBS Investment Bank and Jefferies & Company will be acting as joint book-running managers, with Baird and Cowen and Company acting as co-managers for the offering. This offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.
