Diversified Service Options, Inc., (Diversified) today announced that the company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, First Coast Service Options and Novitas Solutions, have achieved the prestigious Health Ethics Trust's Compliance Program certification for their compliance program, Navigator. Diversified voluntarily submitted its program for the certification process, after which, the Health Ethics Trust's review panel voted unanimously in favor of a full three-year certification effective May 20, 2015.
Health Ethics Trust's Compliance Program certification is a mark of excellence for compliance programs. Chief Compliance Officer Tom Anderson said, "This was the first time the Navigator program was submitted for certification and we are extremely proud it received extraordinary reviews and praise from the review panel."
"We take great pride in maintaining an environment that has a strong commitment to ethics and compliance," CEO and President Sandy Coston said. "Our employees live by our core values of doing the right things, the right way and we are excited to receive this certification as a result of this dedication."
"This certification was successful because of the commitment that our employees have in ensuring compliance and ethics is built in to their daily decisions," First Coast Compliance Officer Karen Hancock said.
Three panel members determined the certification after a two-week assessment during which they reviewed large volumes of compliance program documentation and actual compliance processes and conducted 45 on-site interviews. During the interviews, employees of all three companies demonstrated impressive knowledge about the Navigator program. Leadership was also commended for their commitment to compliance and how the culture of compliance has permeated down through the entire organization as a result of this commitment.
"In awarding this certification, Health Ethics Trust publicly recognizes our Navigator program as a 'best-in-class' compliance and ethics program," Novitas Compliance Officer Annmarie Gover said.
