Since your making  this about race lets point out that Hispanic is not a race.  Its a culture. Its like me removing from your statistics  the Haitians, African Americans  or  any other new world black  culture. This Hispanics originate from Europe. Even with some of the cultural blending that occurred  with some of the Spaniards. It would be unfair to  claim that all Spaniards mixed with blacks and  Indians to  produce's whats is now misused as Hispanic. In the United States  use of the term to refer to persons with a historical and cultural relationship either with Spain and Portugal or only with Spain, regardless of race. Oh and BTW most of  Spain and Portugal is white. In Hispanics cultures you have Black Hispanics , White Hispanics, Asian Hispanics ......
