Cytori Therapeutics receives European approval for Celution System

Cytori Therapeutics received expanded European approval (CE Mark) for its Celution System, a medical device that extracts and separates stem and regenerative cells from a patient's own fat tissue. The new indications include key medical applications such as breast reconstruction, repair of soft tissue defects, as well as the facilitation of healing certain types of wounds, such as those resulting from Crohn's disease. This broadens Cytori's ability to offer the Celution System to patients and hospitals and further supports the company's efforts to gain treatment reimbursement.

Study on effects of resveratrol on metabolism of microcebus murinus

For the first time, work by a team in the "Mécanismes adaptatifs : des organismes aux communautés" Laboratory (CNRS/Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle) has revealed that this compound reduces weight gain in lemurs. Such findings provide new information regarding the effects of resveratrol on energy metabolism and the control of body mass in primates. Curemark commences clinical trial enrollment for CM-AT autism treatment at two more sites

Curemark, LLC,, a drug research and development company focused on the treatment of neurological diseases, announced that the company has opened clinical trial enrollment for CM-AT, its autism treatment, at the University of Pittsburgh and the Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, near Chicago.
