Andrew 1000R-XL Liquid Handling Robot Using Pipettes

Andrew 1000R-XL Liquid Handling Robot uses 0.1 μL to 1000 μL Rainin pipettes and can also utilize long tips (beyond a length of 70 mm) for certain exclusive consumables.

The robot can be used in a host of applications like the pooling of libraries, LC/MS sample preparation, serial dilution, concentration normalization on the microplate, PCR/RTqPCR sample preparation, etc.

Rainin Pipet-Lite XLS+ L2, L20, L100, L200, and L1000.

Tip Types

Tips of a majority of the brands are compatible with the aforementioned pipettes — list available on request.

Tip Racks

The 1000R-XL robot can be used with any kind of tip racks, even when partly filled; however, tips must be formatted in an 8 × 12 array (list is available).

Operating Temperature

The robot works at temperatures in the range of 4–40 °C, with a maximum relative humidity of 80% below T = 31° C, which reduces linearly to 50% relative humidity at 40 °C.

Computer Connection

The robot can be connected to computer via USB 2.0, through USB Type A female connector (USB/USB male cable is provided).

Minimum Personal Computer Requirements

It requires a PC configuration of Windows 7 or above, INTEL CORE i3 processor, 4 GB RAM, 1X USB 2.0 port, and 1280 × 768 screen resolution.
