The PromoCell xeno-free medium is used for the standardized in vitro cultivation of human cancer cell lines.
Description
The PromoCell Cancer Cell Line Medium XF is a cell culture medium, created for the standardized in vitro cultivation of human cancer cell lines.
Its xeno-free and serum-free formulation provides a culture setting devoid of all stimuli emanating from non-defined materials. Therefore, it has no ill-defined constituents (such as extracts, fetal calf serum, or hydrolysates) and reveals very low lot-to-lot variability.
Components
The PromoCell Cancer Cell Line Medium XF includes a bottle of Basal Medium and one vial of SupplementMix. Incorporating the SupplementMix to the Basal Medium creates the complete medium.
Note: Culture vessels have to be coated. For coating, it is proposed that Human Fibronectin Solution (C-43060) or Vitronectin (C-69201) is used.
Key Features
- Xeno-free and serum-free formulation
- Ideal for long-term routine culture of human cancer cell lines
- Adheres with most commonly used human cancer cell lines
