The UA-767S-W is the newest addition in the family of UA-767 devices from A&D — the company’s flagship model since 1985.
It gains from A&D’s 2nd generation Irregular Heart Beat (IHB)/Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) technology, which currently measures the frequency of IHB/AFib — indicated by icons and divided into various grades. This presently allows the user/clinician to see how frequently IHB/AFib has been detected — signifying the level of risk to the patient. If the grade is high, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible.

This %IHB/%AFib function is meant only for monitoring purposes and should not be used for diagnosis. The IHB/AFib screening technology was first established by A&D in 2001 and can presently be found on A&D’s complete series of blood pressure monitors. This A&D revolutionary technology is currently used globally assisting in the opportunistic detection of arrhythmias — which include AFib.
The monitor also profits from very accurate Oscillometric BP measurement, initially created and patented by A&D in 1984.
