Los quistes dentígeros también se refieren como los quistes foliculares de la boca (FCJ) y son los mas comunes de todos los quistes no-inflamatorios de la boca. Éstos son los quistes benignos y de crecimiento lento que se creen para ser de desarrollo en naturaleza.
