Tungiasis è uno stato di interfaccia che è causato da una pulce parassitaria chiamata il Tungapenetrans e parecchie altre specie relative. La pulce è conosciuta ulteriormente da altri nomi quali la pulce di sabbia, il chigoe, il jigger ed il piquè per nominare appena alcune delle alternative.
