Que é Hyperinsulinemia?

Hyperinsulinemia descreve um nível aumentado de insulina no sangue. A circunstância é associada com a intolerância da glicose, a obesidade, a hipertensão e o dyslipidemia, os factores que são referidos colectivamente como a síndrome metabólica.

Hyperinsulinemia é distinto do diabetes ou da hiperglicemia, mas ocorre em conseqüência do diabetes da fase inicial, que pode progredir ao diabetes se não é tratado correctamente.

Hyperinsulinemia conduz a diversas circunstâncias e estes são descritos abaixo.

  • Hipoglicemia ou baixo açúcar no sangue
  • Diabetes ou açúcar no sangue descontrolado que flutua entre um ponto baixo e um nível elevado
  • Risco aumentado da síndrome ovariana Polycystic (PCOS)
  • Produção aumentada das lipoproteína muito de baixa densidade (VLDLs), referida como o hypertriglyceridemia.
  • Risco aumentado de cardiovascular ou de doença cardíaca
  • Doença arterial coronária - o nível alto da insulina danifica as pilhas endothelial que alinham as artérias coronárias.
  • Hipertensão ou hipertensão
  • Glândula de tiróide Underactive
  • Ganho de peso e letargia

Causas

A resistência à insulina é a causa preliminar do hyperinsulinemia. Quando uma pessoa tem a resistência à insulina, o pâncreas tenta compensar produzindo mais insulina. Isto pode conduzir para dactilografar - a 2 o diabetes, que ocorre quando o pâncreas não produz bastante insulina para regular adequadamente o nível do açúcar no sangue. Em casos raros, um tumor pancreático pode causar o hyperinsulinemia. Uma circunstância chamou o nesidioblastosis, onde há um excesso das pilhas que produzem a insulina no pâncreas podem igualmente conduzir ao hyperinsulinemia.

    Hyperinsulinemia is best treated by removing the foods from your diet that cause an insulin spike and replace them with high quality fats. Remove all sugars, fruit juices, pop, and starches and all liquid vegetable and seed oils, especially hydrogenated versions. Replace these foods with olives, avocados, coconuts, and their oils. Also raw tree nuts, fish and fish oils. Get adequate protein and eat lots of on starchy raw vegetables.

      This is good advice for those who have a genetic predisposition for diabetes.   Unfortunately, eating a healthy diet does little to change your genetic makeup.   An extremely strict diet will keep your weight down, exercise will increase your insulin sensitivity.  The latest research on metabolic memory however indicates that extremely aggressive treatment of this condition makes a huge difference down the road.  Unfortunately for most, when this is discovered, they have already had over an 80% reduction of their beta-cell mass, leading to elevated glucagon levels and increased liver production of glucose from glycogen.   Strict diet tremendously helps, but you cannot get your beta cells back (for the most part).   People who discover this early, and treat aggressively with diet, exercise and treatment with insulin-sensitizing medication can have a normal life-span.
