Radiometer's ABL9 blood gas analyzer has been awarded a Red Dot Design Award, an internationally recognized design award focusing on trendsetting and high quality design. The ABL9 analyzer won in the product design category.
Recognized as a global benchmark for design and innovation, the Red Dot Award is one of the most respected international design competitions in the world.
Kasper Schweitz, Vice President, Global R&D at Radiometer says:
We're incredibly proud of this recognition. We have worked closely with users to give them exactly what they asked for – an analyzer that has both an intuitive interface and maintains the technology that they value so much from the ABL compact analyzer series. What we offer is a combination of quality and modern design, and that has been extremely well-received by our customers. Winning this award is a testament to the work of an incredible team."
With a mission to help caregivers make diagnostic decisions that save lives, Radiometer is both proud and humble to meet and even surpass the needs of their customers by bringing new and innovative ideas to market. The ABL9 analyzer has been launched across 48 countries so far.
This Red Dot Award is the second award that Radiometer wins for the design of the ABL9 analyzer. In 2018, Radiometer won an iF DESIGN AWARD in the Design Excellence category. Radiometer has also won design awards for the ABL90 FLEX analyzer and the TCM5 FLEX transcutaneous monitor.
