The embedded powerful Nvidia CPU/GPU computer runs the OCUS software and acts as a web server. There is no need to install additional SW application as the user interface operates on all internet browsers - Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Any PC laptop/desktop, Surface, iPad, MacBook to access Ocus can be used from anywhere in the world.

There is a fully automated process to scan a single slide. The scan area is selected by the user and the rest is handled by OCUS. A single press of a button and scanning, continuous autofocus, stitching and saving the image all happens.

The OCUS can be accessed anywhere through a secure internet connection as it connects to network via 801.11ac WiFi or 1GigE ethernet.
