Clontech Laboratories announces launch of DNA SMART ChIP-Seq Kit

Clontech Laboratories, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Takara Bio Inc., today announced the launch of the DNA SMART ChIP-Seq Kit. This kit adapts Clontech's patented SMART technology in an innovative manner for use with low-input samples, including both dsDNA and ssDNA templates, to generate ChIP-seq libraries for NGS.

Women who undergo surgical treatment for endometriosis have lower risk of ovarian cancer

A novel study shows women who undergo surgical treatment for endometriosis have a lower risk of developing ovarian cancer. According to results published in Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, a journal of the Nordic Federation of Societies of Obstetrics and Gynecology, hormonal treatments for endometriosis did not lower ovarian cancer risk.
