Heat Therapy Systems

Heat therapy systems are devices that supply water of a controlled temperature to regulate a patient’s body temperature or to apply heat therapy to a localized area to relieve pain, promote blood flow, and increase healing. In cases of hyper- or hypothermia, large wraps placed around a patient’s limbs and torso are filled with water from a hose connected to cooled or heated reservoirs. In cases of muscle spasm or chronic arthritis, localized warming pads are applied.
