Plethysmographs

A plethysmograph is an instrument for measuring changes in the volume of a part or whole of the body. Pulmonary, respiratory, or penile measurements may be used to guide the management of restricted airways, poor blood circulation, or erectile dysfunction. The devices are available as water or air plethysmographs, with the water instruments generally being more accurate but less convenient to use than air versions.
