With dual output via HDMI and USB 3, INFINITY5-3 delivers high-performance microscope cameras for a variety of applications.
All-in-one HDMI and research-grade microscopy camera
The INFINITY5 series cameras from Teledyne Lumenera accurately reproduce precisely what is seen in the eyepiece. This, along with their ability to be operated without a computer, makes the INFINITY5 series cameras a perfect choice for any application where color is important and where the requirement for shared learning exists.
Whether its teaching, tumor board review, or inspection, the HDMI interface provides users with the option to run the camera without connection to a computer. Both a 3-megapixel (INFINITY5-3) and a 5-megapixel (INFINITY5-5) version of the INFINITY5 series cameras are offered.
The 3-megapixel INFINITY5-3 microscopy camera offers fast frame rates and outstanding resolution. Based on a Sony® PregiusTM global shutter CMOS sensor, the INFINITY5-3 competes with sCMOS technology. The INFINITY5-3 works well across a wide range of applications owing to its very responsive framing and focusing at 120 frames per second.
The CMOS sensor of the INFINITY5-3 has a 1/1.8-inch format, 2064 × 1544 resolution, and 3.45-micron pixels. The HDMI output means that the INFINITY5-3 can be connected to both a computer and HDMI TV or monitor for applications where knowledge sharing is critical.
Simultaneous live viewing on computer and HDMI monitor
Users can operate the camera by attaching it directly to an HDMI monitor, or they can use a USB 3 to preview and capture images on a PC or Mac. With or without a connection to a computer, users can operate the camera using the soft-touch response buttons.
Applications software
The feature-rich INFINITY ANALYZE software suite is included as standard with all INFINITY microscopy cameras. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac and can be installed on different computers and used by several people.
The quick-to-install INFINITY ANALYZE application offers tiling, focus stacking, measurement and annotation features, intuitive camera controls, and workflow optimization.
The INFINITY5-3 is pre-configured with a power supply, USB, and HDMI cords. Users can install the INFINITY ANALYZE software or make use of Image-Pro® by Media Cybernetics, Micro-Manager, MATLAB, LabVIEW, TWAIN, and DirectShow third-party compatibility.
Guaranteed quality
All microscopy cameras come with a comprehensive 3-year guarantee from Teledyne Lumenera.
