Scanning Single Beam Spectrophotometer M501
This is a scanning single beam scanning spectrophotometer model M501 with an on-board LED display and keypad offering local control. The sealed and solvent-resistant tactile keypad has an alpha-numeric entry for user file names and user entry of units making it a practical and methodical instrument.
The M501 now has a USB data port to enable file transfers
The M501 has a real-time clock for date and time stamping of results to help with organisation and clarity of analysis. There is also the option of monitoring the useage status of the lamps for maximum longevity and optimum performance.
The M501 performs automatic blanking when the instrument arrives at the measurement wavelength and includes a large sample compartment (225 mm deep x 115 mm wide x 120 mm high) which can accommodate an 8-cell changer and 100 mm pathlength cells.
Other practical benefits include the large synthetic covers which allow the M501 to run cool to minimise warm-up effects and the rugged steel base and enclosed monochromator assembly ensure the calibration is stable for years of instrument use.
