High sample throughput is one of the day-to-day challenges that need to be met by analytical laboratories. Most often, many analyses have to be developed at the same time. To facilitate these processes as well as the general workflow, a multi-vortexer has been designed.
The multi-vortexer can accommodate tubes (Greiner tubes or Falcon tubes) ranging from 12 (16 to 32 mm diameter) to 26 (10 to 16 mm diameter). Reaction vessels equipped with snap-on lids (“Eppis” or Eppendorf cups) are also fixed securely. A speed control between 150 and 2,000 rpm and the 3 mm shaking orbit ensure excellent mixing results.
The built-in timer (up to 999 minutes) allows the shaking function to be terminated automatically. Once the time has expired, a signal tone is produced. In this manner, users can be sure that their work process will progress continuously since many tasks have to be done simultaneously.
