We've added a new tool to the Z-SC1's freezers, a fingerprint safety scanner to identify yourself to the system, allowing customers to access their samples via their fingerprint as well as registering any RFID card, including commercially available cards like credit cards, to allow access to the freezer.
Each freezer with this safety lock system can add up to 99 individual users, allowing personalisable access. The freezer self-locks after 5 seconds if the door is not opened. This provides heightened security, which is especially valuable for workspaces with highly sensitive or valuable samples.
