Hospitals, health plans and other organizations can ease their care management and patient-tracking workload with new tools and features available in CareWebQI((R)) Version 1.9 from Milliman Care Guidelines.
CareWebQI is flexible, interactive software that allows Milliman Care Guidelines((R)) clients to capture and report on real-time clinical data. The software enables consistent point-and-click application of these annually updated, evidence-based clinical guidelines, so that any client can measure healthcare performance against national quality standards; track variances from best-practice; identify inappropriate care; and detect physician, facility and resource delays.
More than 100 of 1,600 Care Guidelines clients use CareWebQI interactive software, whether through the web or installed locally.
Combining its interactive care management features with powerful new work queue and data integration tools makes CareWebQI Version 1.9 one of the most useful clinical episode management applications available. While the flexible CareWebQI software has always made the Care Guidelines clinical content interactive and reportable, this new version adds many of the workflow, security, data integration and quality measurement tools requested by clients.
Medical Management Module
This optionally licensed module supports management of day-to-day operational workflow and medical director-level reviews. The Medical Management Module includes a work queue to keep track of assigned patient episodes, and adds a task list for users to create and manage reminders, follow-ups and other care-continuum items. It also supports timely patient episode review, routing, and maintenance. This module gives CareWebQI v.1.9 several of the important functions of a full care management system.
Bulk Data Load, HL7 Integration Tools
Clients can save time and steps by accessing the new Bulk Data Load Tool from within CareWebQI to validate and input files, schedule data loads, control load frequency, and view activity files on-line. This tool is available to hosted or locally installed clients, and includes a new Bulk Load Activity log file.
