Sparta Systems, Inc., the maker of TrackWise® software and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance solutions, today announced that Ascent Healthcare Solutions, Inc. a leader in delivering healthcare resource sustainability has selected its TrackWise Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS) to streamline organizational quality practices and improve compliance with industry regulations. Ascent will deploy TrackWise software specifically to manage key quality processes, including customer complaints and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Previously, Ascent had relied on a paper-based model to track and report on all incoming customer complaints. Upon implementation of Sparta Systems' TrackWise solution, Ascent expects a timelier and more accurate reporting of complaints in compliance with industry standards, as well as greater control over other global manufacturing processes. Once deployed, the company plans to extend its use of TrackWise software to manage additional aspects of the quality operation, including training, audits and document control

"With Sparta Systems' expertise in the medical device industry and fundamental understanding of quality practices and reporting requirements, Ascent was confident that it had a partner that would leverage industry best practices to boost compliance initiatives across our organization," said Paul Rice, senior vice president quality assurance and regulatory affairs, Ascent Healthcare Solutions, Inc. "In selecting the TrackWise Quality Management System, we expect enhanced reporting capabilities, better management of our quality practices and a quick return on our investment."
