Mobile Aspects' technologies to be incorporated in NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

Mobile Aspects announced today that the Department of Perioperative Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center will broaden their use of Mobile Aspects technologies to incorporate additional solutions for tissue tracking and endoscope tracking. By implementing these solutions in conjunction with current technologies that support medical device and supply management, the organization will position itself for further clinical process improvement and a more comprehensive approach to manage clinical resources used within the surgical care setting.

Both the tissue tracking and endoscope tracking systems utilize radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to enable high levels of process automation within the care delivery process. In turn, benefits such as enhanced regulatory compliance, improved staff efficiency, and increased of levels of patient care are realized through solutions that create simple workflows while yielding robust data on operational performance.
