CoActiv Medical, Capital X-Ray enter distribution agreement

CoActiv Medical, the PACS, RIS and cloud-based digital archiving innovator, announces a distribution agreement with Capital X-Ray (CXR) (Tallassee, AL), the largest independent x-ray dealer in the Southeast. Under the new agreement, CXR will distribute the complete CoActiv product line in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and the Florida panhandle.

With 25 years of experience and an installed base of more than 200 digital imaging sites, CXR is a widely known and respected distributor who delivers product value and excellent customer service. Like Capital X-Ray, CoActiv views this new relationship as an important growth opportunity. Prior to establishing its new relationship with CoActiv, CXR had been searching for a vendor that could provide an advanced full-featured PACS and a full range of complementary technologies such as vendor-neutral cloud-based archiving at an affordable price. When Stiff viewed a demonstration of CoActiv's technology at RSNA 2011, he was convinced that the product would provide CXR with a significant edge in the local marketplace.
