NewsGuard 100/100 Score

The euroPLX pharma business development platform is preparing to celebrate its 50th partnering conference on 5 and 6 November 2012 in Sorrento, Italy. Currently held three times a year, euroPLX has been held for the first time in 1995 as the first no-lectures, no-presentations business partnering conference of the life science and pharmaceutical industry worldwide.

Dr. Norbert Rau, co-initiator of euroPLX says: "No other pharma or biotech partnering conference has been held as often as euroPLX. But more important is the fact that many customers have attended 10, 20 or 30 times, and some of them even more often. Returning customers are the best proof for value delivered."

Contrary to other partnering event concepts, euroPLX focuses exclusively on providing an online and face-to-face infrastructure for business negotiations. "Company presentations, lectures, exhibitions, and shows distract the executive from his main objective: deals. This is why you observe a comparatively low productivity at these events" says Dr. Norbert Rau, who adds that "if you measure productivity in terms of tangible outcome, most fall short of the benchmark."

Organised by RauCon business development, a consultancy with pharma business development experience since more than 25 years, euroPLX Meetings are held in all major countries of Europe. Since 1995 more than 1,200 pharmaceutical and biotech companies from 70 countries have attended euroPLX Meetings and each single euroPLX Meeting sees delegates from an average of 36 countries, making it one of the most international partnering events of the life science industry.
