Retail Benefits acquires My HSA Rewards

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Retail Benefits (www.retailbenefits.com) today announced the acquisition of My HSA Rewards, an innovative program that allows employees to use cash back from shopping to reduce healthcare costs.  Retail Benefits uses proprietary technology to merge the affiliate online marketing space with the employee benefit world, creating a flexible platform that can be used to offer an infinite number of employee or customer incentives.

"In 2008, My HSA Rewards pioneered the ability for individuals to easily fund their Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) simply by depositing cash back rewards they earned while shopping online.  They have done a great job focusing on the rapidly growing HSA space, specifically banks and health care companies looking to drive the Healthcare Consumerism movement by helping individuals fund their High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs)," explained Michael Russo, Retail Benefits founder. "We are excited to combine this well-known brand with our revolutionary technology and back office systems, further improving and expanding our offerings to the industry."

"Mr. Russo is a true visionary, and Retail Benefits provides the newest and most exciting voluntary benefit in the employee benefits industry today. They use cash back from shopping as a 'virtual currency' to design programs in healthcare, energy, not-for profit fundraising, higher education, and customer loyalty programs," explained Sanders McConnell, the founder of My HSA Rewards. "I look forward to working with him, building the My HSA Rewards brand while utilizing the Retail Benefits technology to broaden our reach in healthcare and other markets."
