    Hi Michelle, I am so sorry for all the pain and severing you are going through.. I was wondering if you vision lost was temporary and that someone else was not typing your messages here.. Did you lose vision in both eyes? How long did it take for your vision to recovery? I hope you are doing better now, there are many support groups for IIH illiness online you can join for great advices from patience in your situation..

    btw LUCKY.....Obesity is not a cause of IIH however doctors do find them MORE often in obese people so obviously being obese is a contributing factor.. ALSO good percentage of obese patients with IIH gets better after losing weight or lab band surgery.
