    The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is saving dollars on the backs of small businesses. Due to the CMS bidding rules dictating which HME providers can service seniors and patients in need, here in North Carolina between 1,200-1,600 job cuts are expected statewide as HME providers are either blocked from servicing patients who use Medicare to pay for their essential equipment, or are forced by CMS to provide services at sub-industry prices.
