  Holding people to account is one of the biggest problems humans have - from government officials on down. This is true in probably every society on earth. Certainly, in the US & all other countries, corruption runs rampant and the evil doers get away with, in many cases, literally murder. Look at how the effects of climate change have become so extreme that life on the planet is in the balance. In many cases, we know who was reponsible, yet no consequences for these criminals. The same is true of tobacco CEOs, big Phama, chemical & other polluters. There is no end to the list.
