    Working in assisted living with 100 people in various stages of various dementias, I find the randomness more amenable to appreciation using chaos theory. The attempt to find linear commonalities and distinguish among subtypes misses the poetry of dementia. I see postmortems with Braak scales of people I knew for years and their humanity and the stage of pathology don't match up.
