I have an aunt who is 80 plus years old. She recently (last year I think) got some hearing aids.  I don't know what kind she bought, but she paid quite a lot of money for them. She "claims" that her hearing aids don't work, so she refuses to wear them. She has a son and two daughters, and one of her daughters told her to put the hearing aids in and wear them just to get used to using them. I think she did that for awhile, but stopped wearing them. She won't go back to the audiologist to get them adjusted, so as a result, everyone including me and my mother(her sister) have to keep shouting at her just so she can hear us. She is really stubborn about not wearing her hearing aids, and won't do anything that anyone tells her. What would you suggest that my mother do? My mother is 92 and can hear quite well.
