    This technology is so new that it is not well known. The fact that it is relativly inexpensive and could be producing isotopes so soon make it worth looking at more closely. The biggest plus however is that it produces no nuclear waste. If the government decides to go with a new reactor which uses low enriched uranium, because it would require five times as much uranium as highly enriched uranium there would also be five times as much nuclear waste.
