A cardiac calcification test costs about $150 total, and takes 10 minutes.  Totally non invasive.  I cannot comprehend why doctors do not push this test, and why insurance won't pay for it since 90% of us are going to die with some kind of heart disease.  The sooner we know, the better we can work with it, or go for additional tests.   Insurance routinely pays thousands of dollars for a colonoscopy, which is terribly invasive and risky, to which only a few percent of the population has any real risk for colon cancer - why is that?    It's a racket, of course.
