    Hello,

Has anyone dealt with a diagnosis of pleuritis as a symptom during a PFAPA attack We are doing bloodwork to rule out Mediterannean Fever because pleuritis is often associated with Med. Fever.

My daughter, age 7, has been having these monthly fevers along with pain in her side, for about 2 years. Ultrasounds and xrays don't show anyhting but an echocardiogram showed mild pleuritis. However, it is in the same spot during every episode. Has anyone experienced this with their child?
