    Find the second half of this statement, "...or the first three months of pregnancy...", difficult to fathom.  

    Figure this could be awkward wording.  

    My understanding of the matter is, once ensconced in the embryonic sac the only biological contact is through the mother.  Am however leaving room to learn something new about fathers post-conception influence.
