1. More Coverage Not Less

    As the director of Novus Medical Detox Center, when I speak to our patients many of them got on OxyContin--legal heroin, because a doctor prescribed it.  Almost everyone was ignorant that it was legal heroin and just as addictive.

    Many tell me about this ignorance leading them to share the Oxy's with their friends and some tell me that their friends overdosed.

    We need to give more coverage but the coverage needs to be about why they are so dangerous and need to be locked up just like we urge people to lock up their guns.

    We need to send parents and kids to the www.banoxycontin.com site to read the comments.
