    An interesting idea, but Lyme Disease has also been found in Mosquitos, fleas and other blood-sucking insects. Ticks have also been found on migratory birds, mice, hedgehogs and various wild animals. Less deer will be unlikely to reduce the Lyme Disease population, ticks will just latch onto a different warm-blooded host (although they've been found on snakes too!)
