If JD Haworth will pledge to fight this blatant intrusion into patients' rights, he will gain support in his campaign to unseat McCain from the most unlikely group: left leaning folks.... the fruit and nuts from all over the country who are health food fanatics and take their supplements very, very seriously and who ordinarily would despise someone with his political leanings.
This Dietary Supplement Safety Act is a perfectly horrible bill that will, literally, destroy the health and lives of people who depend upon their high dose vitamins and supplements to stay alive. If the McCain/Dorgan passes, it will take access to these supplements away, and they will truly wreck what little bit of sane "health care" we have in this country.
