Some people have a slight sensitivity to PG due to it's profound air drying effect and the fact that 90% of people live in a state of mild chronic dehydration. I vape 50/50 propylene glycol/vegetable glycerin because higher PG tends to irritate my throat and sinuses, still haven't been ill other than a little sinus irritation (5% of what I experienced from smoking for 40 years) since I started vaping.

- You'll find that Vegetable Glycerin is also a humectant (absorbs moisture).

  You'll find that Vegetable Glycerin is also a humectant (absorbs moisture). Also "mild chronic" is an oxymoron, and dehydration is not a significant problem, so long as you are able to and do drink liquids when you're thirsty.
  
  However, you're quite right with PG sensitivity, especially when heated, it is a mild irritant, and for those sensitive to it can be significantly uncomfortable. I vape 100% VG for this reason also.
