1. Benzene and solvents

    I too would be interested in any information which might connect benzene with diabetes. At the age of 58 I developed Type 2 diabetes which progressed to needing insulin injections within 2 years(type 1a). I have never been overweight and there is no history of the disease in my family. I did, however, spend 10 years working in screen printing using quite strong solvents before developing the condition.
