    I read the first article in the readers digest. Yesterday I bought walnut pieces for my husband. He has high blood cholesterol levels and has not been able to take any of the prescribed medications. Consequently he is currently on Niacin.
    He eats portage twice a day so last nite he added walnuts to his snack,  We will try the nuts until his next blood tests ,about 6 months away. As he likes nuts it certainly isn't a hard sell.
    I will let you know how he does.
