    I think it's sad that we are so bent out of shape about tanning in tanning beds when there are clearly many other ways we could be improving our teen's health.  We are jeopardizing our teen's health by telling them to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen.  Sunscreen causes cancer, the one thing that we are trying to avoid in the first place!  And, we now have epidemic low levels of Vitamin D in our populations which is one of the reasons we've seen such a dramatic rise in degenerative diseases and cancers.
