Glenda you are absolutely right, I really liked your article, I think people are mixing up the humans with the animal kingdom, what a comparison to convince humans that being homosexual is normal, Adam and Steve from animal kingdom are open minded , whilst Adam and Eve are odd in our era I guess!!
Humans do everything (more or less) that animals do, we are born, we grow, we love, we hate, we die (not necessarily in that order). So then Glenda, do tell, why are chimpanzees so close to use genetically? Because some dude wrote a few thousand years ago that God created man specially, you take that as the end-all, no point for further discussion. Is corn different from a rose genetically? Only marginally, but that doesn't make either one better than the other. It sounds like you place humanity on too high a pedestal and lower all of God's other creations to mere scenery. I'm sure that God may think differently about all that S/He made. If you want to be that insular than maybe this wasn't the blog or article for you. I believe God gave us a mind to use, to grow, to explore life, not to close it off from the world and treat it like it was a rare diamond. While I would posit that some people's brain are like a diamond in that they are a hard, inert material that will not even grow a milimeter in diameter.
