This article is literally bringing me to tears. My son has Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia and is 4 y/o. His first days of his life were spent flying in a helicopter to UofM from an adrenal crisis and his first 2 years of life were spent in and out of hospitals. I have always hoped for some sort of cure for this though scientific research but never thought it would happen in my sons life time. I am beyond happy to see that there is hope. Hope that my son won't have to take medication 3x a day. Hope that a simple cold won't send him into a adrenal crisis where we would have to emergency inject him and spend days in the hospital. Hope that my son can grow with ease and not be worried if he is growing to fast or too wide. Hope that my son may one day not salt waste. Hope. This brings us Hope.
